SERVICES

Vocalist

She has performed in an array of genres and venues- from operatic stages to musical theatre productions, benefit recitals to choral concerts, and sporting events to religious ceremonies. She enjoys performing as a soloist, ensemble member, cantor, and actress for hire.

Throughout the last decade, Ashley has earned two master's degrees in Classical Voice Performance, has studied non-singing performance practices such as acting, varying dance styles, Alexander Technique, percussion, and script analysis, and has performed for four Young Artist Program events- one of which was international, and another at Carnegie Hall.

Private Studio Lessons

Modern vocal pedagogy is the foundation of Ashley's teaching methods. By finding balance in air flow, phonation, and resonance, the development of the voice is promoted in a healthy manner.  Once this balance is consistent, a singer is capable of communicating more clearly and effectively.  She encourages students to delve into a variety of genres, languages, characters, and technical challenges.

Ashley has earned an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy, and has studied the Rehabilitation of the Singing Voice and the application of Alexander Technique in the Voice Studio. She teaches private individual lessons at her home studio, individual and small group lessons at the school, and offers
private lessons - both in-person and virtually upon request.

Classroom Teacher & Conductor

Choral conducting, arranging, and teaching are some of Ashley's most frequent endeavors. Working with varying ages of students has always been a passion of hers, and she finds that instilling musicianship skills into a young group is an extremely rewarding experience. She strongly believes that group music classes benefit both the individuals and the unified effort.

Ashley
currently teaches middle and high school student ensembles and general music classes, and has had the opportunity to teach elementary, middle, and high school ensembles and middle and high school technique classes in a camp setting. She also teaches a collegiate music theory course through CAPP UW-Oshkosh.

Director & Business Manager

Ashley is a High School Musical Theatre Director, in which she has been responsible for auditioning and casting, vocal music, acting and staging direction, choreography, logistical and production decisions, coordination of volunteers, promotional designs, fundraising, creating and maintaining the program's website and YouTube channel.

At Eastern Illinois University, Ashley served as the Business Manager of the Eastern Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir, and University Mixed Chorus. She has been trained in musical library organization, hiring and contracting musicians, meeting directors' requests, editing programs, and professional communications.
